The Sterlet is one of the smallest growing species of sturgeon but can still reach a significant adult size of up to 30inches. Good fish for the beginner hobbyist. Require colder waters not over 78 degrees. Originally native to freshwater bodies of Central Asia and Eastern Europe but now is exclusively commercially bred.
